I think respect is a part of everyday life, except it needs to be earned like at school, at work, at home, on teams, and in groups.
I believe that at home everyone should do their fair share of helping out around the house. I try to be nice to my family, and I help out by cleaning and doing some other chores.
At school I gain respect by participating, doing what I'm asked to do, and getting my work turned in.
In teams and in groups I think getting respect is a different story. I try to communicate, treat others how I want to be treated, follow the rules, and put in effort to reach certain goals.
I don't have a job yet, but I'm sure respect is earned by arriving on time, and respecting the other workers there.
