Alex Serratos "My Journey"

One of my craziest journeys I've ever been on was the time I went to when I went to play basketball at "Pat Baker Park"and on my way home I ended up running into some trouble.
The day my journey started I was at home watching television and playing video games you know the usual things I do on a lazy Sunday. As I was enjoying my self playing Madden i received a phone call on my cell phone. when answered it i heard a familiar voice it was my friend Kenndel, and he was asking me if I wanted to go play basketball, I answered "Yes" even though I kinda didn't want to go so my journey began.
My walk there was fast because the park isn't far from my house so as I approached the park I seemed to have noticed that there were many people there, people i knew to like like my boy Tim also Anthony Tim's brother was there and their sister Kendra, Kenndel was also there and so was Jerald. As we played things were going good until Tim and Anthony got in a argument so everyone stopped playing except me and Tim and he was talking to about what i needed to do to make my shot better I always looked at Tim as my mentor, the reason for that being is because he always helped me and taught me things as will. as soon as it got dark I decided to go home or my mom would worry so I stated to walk home.
On my way home I decided to take a short cut home because I didn't want to walk a lot I took "Dirt Hill", and that's when my troubles started. as i was walking up the hill some guys jumped out and started threatning me because I was wearing red, I was nervous but I tried not to show it. they started asking me questions like "what do I bang? or "Why was I wearing red?" but I anwsered I don't bang anything so they let me go. when i continued my walk home.
When I got home I was thinking back on what just happened and I was telling myself next time I'm walking home at night make sure to take the long way and to not wear red when taking a short cut.
