The journey I remember the most was when i went to Mexico for summer break. My mom asked my sister and me if we wanted to go to Mexico with my cousin, i hadnt been to Mexico since i was 2 so i really wanted to go. about a week later we packed our baggs and we left. I was both sad and excited because i wanted to be there already but i didnt want to leave my mom, dad, and especially my little brother.
I got to Mexico and the first people I saw was my tall grandpa and short grandma. I was so tiered, my legs hurt, and my hair looked horrible. When i got to my grandparents' house i met some cousins that i didnt even know i had. I met my cousin Cynthia for the first time and at first i didnt like her but she turned out to be a cool mentor. I had a lot of fun with her and we were together all the time. Even though i was having fun in Mexico i awanted to go home and see my little brother.
I came back to Nevada a week before i started 7th grade. I was happy to be home but at the same time I wanted to go back to Mexico. I felt different at my house, and my little brother didnt look the same to me he looked taller and older even though it had only been two months. It was kind of wierd hearing everyone speak English because for two months straight all i herd was Spanish. going to mexico made me see how different things are here, i noticed that we have a lot more and i apretiate it more now.
